- Empty and wash the fridge or freezer 1-2 days before the move
- Ensure that it is clean and dry
- Store AND move standing up with the door slightly open to prevent smell
- When you take it out of your storage unit, be sure to leave it unplugged for at least 6-8 hours to prevent damage (refer to the user manual for specifics)
